UNICEF: Designer dolls for Darfur's children

This year designers and fashion houses created forty-five unique dolls for the ninth edition of Les Frimousses de Createurs for UNICEF, including Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier, Givenchy and Christian Dior. The designer dolls - which were conceived with nature in mind this year - will be on show at the Petit Palais from November 29 to December 4. Then they go under the hammer at Paris' Drouot Montaigne auction house on December 13. The reserve price for each little toy is 300 euros. UNICEF will help vaccinate children in Sudan’s Darfur region with the auction proceeds.
