Alexander McQueen showed at its menswear show in London for the first time a subversion of the classicism of Savile Row.

Sarah Burton's summer 2012 collection is inspired by bees and honeycombs: "They are a matriarchal community." The designs were also remembered on the 40ies and sometime on the baroque period. In the end colourful tulle gowns with flowers took the catwalk - maybe the queen bees:
